Some tips on how you might use joyiswithinyou.com as a way to help you relax and meditate at home, work, or while traveling.
On the left of this page are links to "Meditation Images." These are offered as visual aids to meditation and inner peace. You may use your computer screen as a spiritual focal point as you begin a meditation, or at any time just to add some beauty and inspiration to your day.
Paramhansa Yogananda said that it can be very helpful to gaze into or visualize the eyes of a great master, and that this is a good way to attune ourselves to their consciousness and to awaken our own highest potential. Try it! You can meditate with a master, or use the nature images to transport yourself wherever you would like to be. Then close your eyes and allow the scene, or eyes/image of the master to "come to life" inside of you. Consciously draw inspiration through these sacred images.
On the right we have a menu of links related to instruction on how to sit comfortably in meditation and how to deal with common issues with posture. Included are links to our sitting products, most notably, the most comfortable meditation bench we have ever tried. We have found that this bench makes meditation suprisingly more comfortable, and therefore easier to get into. At the bottom of this menu you'll see our free audio and video meditation links. The audio link takes you to a separate page that also links to free internet radio that plays wonderful spiritually uplifting music all day long. You'll find the "Meditation Images" are on that page too.
